Joost Kuijpers works as a neighborhood connector in Rotterdam and is a shamanic healer in the tradition of the Susquehannock. He discovered the power, the help, the magic of Drum and its enormous potential and would like to pass on this knowledge. His motto: “Be (yourself)”, and Drum can help you with that!

We start with an introduction between you and the materials, the initiation of your drum and introduction to the Spirit of drum. Furthermore, a short explanation about how the drum can help you, but also how you and the drum can help others.

The skins

• With hair: horse, cow, goat, camel or buffalo.
• Without hair: goat, moose, deer or fish.

The frames

• Round: willow, ash, beech and mulberry. – Diameter between 30 cm and 55 cm, with a 5 cm increase.
• Egg-shape: Willow – Length 48cm and 52cm.

The Rope
